Below are my favorite films seen in 2000... I happened to given 10 films a **** rating in 2000, though this happened accidentally and gradually. I gave another 15 or so 2000 films a 3 1/2 * rating and I think they're worth mentioning, so 1st here they are in order of preference (I liked Virgin Suicides most of the bunch): 2000's ***1/2 films: The Virgin Suicides, Jesus’ Son, Time Code, Erin Brockovich, East is East, Pollack, Yi Yi, Snatch, Girlfight, Ratcatcher, The Legend of Drunken Master, Hamlet, Nurse Betty, High Fidelity, Tigerland 2000's top films... 9 . Best in Show 8 . Finding Forester 7 . Traffic 5 . Beau Travail 4 . The Idiots 2 . Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
